Starting at Black Creek Park in Fultondale, AL, this marathon & half marathon will be held on the Five Mile Creek Greenway, a rails-to-trail project located 15 minutes north of Birmingham. Runners will race through the Cities of Fultondale, Gardendale, and Brookside on this flat, fast course.

The event is a USATF certified (Boston Qualifier), chip timed and fast, fast, fast. We venture to say it is one of the fastest marathon and half marathon routes in Alabama! Take a look at the results tab we held on this course back in 2020 and 2024 to see for yourself how fast this course is!
