Race Info
The Bournemouth Half Marathon is the flagship race of the Run Bournemouth weekend festival, held each October along the Dorset coast. The 13.1-mile course starts at Hengistbury Head, follows five miles of cliff-top trail overlooking Poole Bay, then drops to the seafront promenade past Boscombe Pier before finishing on Bournemouth Pier Approach. The same weekend also includes the Supersonic 10K and Supernova 5K. Run Bournemouth originally staged a full marathon distance alongside the half, but that distance was discontinued in 2020 and has not returned.
