Race Info
The Cape Breton Fiddlers Marathon runs along Sydney, Nova Scotia's downtown waterfront on a flat, paved course, starting and finishing at Victoria Park. It is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier. Local musicians play along the route, and the course passes near Sydney's "Big Fiddle" landmark. The race is organized by the Cape Breton Fiddlers Run Association, formed in 2005 by Lydia and Everett Dickson to promote fitness in the community. Source
