Las Vegas Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, warming through the race
A cool 44°F at the start line is ideal for fast times — expect to warm up quickly once you're moving. Temperatures rising to 59°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing.

Race Info
The Las Vegas Marathon, first run in 1967, is one of the oldest marathons in the U.S. It returns for 2027 under producer Brooksee Event Productions with a redesigned out-and-back course starting and finishing at The STRAT hotel-casino, with a 6:30 a.m. start. Runners pass through the Fremont Street Experience early on, loop through Springs Preserve and nearby neighborhoods, then close with ten miles down the Las Vegas Strip past the Bellagio fountains and Caesars Palace.
