Race Info
London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed-road half marathon run entirely through the City of London and City of Westminster, the only UK half marathon to cover both. The route starts near Pall Mall and finishes on Downing Street, passing landmarks including Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral, the Royal Courts of Justice, Tower Bridge and the London Eye. The event is owned and organized by the charity Tommy's and has raised over £88 million for the charity sector since launching in 2018. Runners have set multiple Guinness World Records at the event while in costume, and fancy dress is common. About 14,000 runners take part each year via public ballot or charity places, with a four-hour time limit before roads reopen to traffic. Source
