Runners will face temperatures starting at 32°F and rising to 34°F by the finish. With NW winds at 13 mph and gusts up to 26 mph, the wind chill will feel much colder, especially at the start. Runners should dress in layers to combat the chill and consider adjusting their pace to account for the wind. Rain is a slight possibility, but any moisture will be light.

Race Info
The NYRR Fred Lebow Half Marathon runs each January in Central Park, covering two full loops plus a shortened third loop past Harlem Hill before finishing near the 102nd Street transverse. The race is named for Fred Lebow, the longtime New York Road Runners president and co-founder of the New York City Marathon. Fields typically number 5,000 to 6,000 runners. The January 2026 edition was cancelled due to forecasted winter weather, with the next running scheduled for January 24, 2027.
