Race Info
The Pistol is a weekend of loop races on the paved Alcoa-Maryville Greenway beside Pistol Creek in Alcoa, Tennessee, just outside Knoxville. The 100 mile, 100K and 50K start Saturday morning, a 50 mile starts Saturday at 8 PM, and 10 mile and 20 mile races run Sunday morning. Everyone repeats a USATF-certified loop of about 10 miles from the Springbrook Pool Center, and the path is lit at night. The 50K, 100K and 100 mile have a 32 hour limit. Source
