Race Info
The Toronto Waterfront Marathon runs through downtown Toronto and along the Lake Ontario waterfront every October, drawing more than 30,000 runners across the marathon, half marathon and 5K. The 42.195-kilometre course starts on Yonge Street near Elm Street and finishes on Bay Street near Queen Street, and its flat profile has made it a frequent stop for runners chasing Boston qualifying times. First run in 1999, the race carries World Athletics Elite Label status and serves as the Athletics Canada National Marathon Championships.
