The United States Air Force Marathon is an annual event held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, featuring a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and Tailwind Trot 1K Kids’ Run. The marathon course is a Boston Qualifier, taking runners on a journey of over 26 miles through historic aviation sites, including the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the Wright Brothers Memorial. The race concludes under the wing tips of historic aircraft in the museum’s Air Park.
