Race Info
Wild Wild West Marathon & Ultra has run in Lone Pine, California since 1979, making it one of the oldest trail marathons in the country. The race passes through the Alabama Hills and the foothills of Mt. Whitney, with aid stations spaced roughly every four miles. Runners can choose a 10-mile race, a 26.2-mile marathon, a 50K, or a 50-mile ultramarathon. The race has run in May most years, with a two-year stretch in October (2024 and 2025) before returning to a May date for 2026 and 2027. Source
