With humidity at 52% and no rain expected, runners can maintain their pacing strategy, but should remain mindful of wind gusts in exposed areas.
The Brainerd Jaycees Run for the Lakes Marathon is a highly-rated, volunteer-organized race set in the scenic North Woods of Nisswa, Minnesota.
The course is a paved double loop that winds past beautiful cabin-lined lakes and pine forests. It is known for being very runner-friendly, featuring a mostly flat and fast elevation profile alongside consistently cool spring temperatures.
Beyond the full marathon, it has a festive community atmosphere all weekend, with all proceeds going to support local charities and non-profits in the Brainerd Lakes area. Source
