The Walker North Country Marathon offers runners a challenging and scenic journey through Minnesota's Chippewa National Forest. The course features a mix of groomed grass trails, asphalt bike paths, and winding forest paths, including sections of the North Country Trail and the Heartland Trail. Participants are treated to diverse terrain, including hilly forested areas and flat stretches, culminating in a finish at the Walker High School track and field complex.
