The Cannonball Marathon is an annual marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K held in Greensboro, North Carolina, one of the longest-running road races in the state. The marathon and half marathon share a course starting and finishing at Jaycee Park within Country Park, following the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway through north Greensboro; marathon runners complete two loops. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Proceeds from the race support the adjacent Greensboro Science Center. Source
