The Outer Banks Marathon is a flat course in Manteo, North Carolina, starting and finishing at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site on Roanoke Island, with the route running along the island's sound side and through the village of Manteo. It is USATF-certified (marathon #NC20233BDS, half marathon #NC23034BDS) and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Race weekend also includes a half marathon, 8K, and 5K, held annually in November. Source
