Race Info
The Charlevoix Marathon is an annual marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K held each June in Charlevoix, Michigan. The races start and finish on Park Avenue in downtown Charlevoix, with the marathon course running south along Lake Michigan past the Mushroom Houses and the South Pier Lighthouse, picking up a crushed-granite trail near the airport, and looping twice through Fisherman's Island State Park before returning downtown. All four distances are USATF certified, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier, with roughly 18 percent of finishers qualifying in a typical year. The event marked its 20th running in 2026.
