Race Day Weather
Cool start — fast day potential, warming through the race

Race Info
The Hoover Dam Marathon is an out-and-back race starting and finishing at Boulder Beach on Lake Mead National Recreation Area, about 18 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. The course follows the Historic Railroad Trail through three of the six tunnels built in the 1930s to move construction materials for Hoover Dam, turning around near the dam's upper parking area overlooking the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge before retracing the route back to Boulder Beach. About 14 miles of the marathon route is hard-packed dirt trail, with the rest on paved trail. Source
