Race Info
The Lakeside Marathon starts at Lakeside Beach in South Lake Tahoe, California, and finishes in Incline Village, Nevada. The course climbs from about 6,230 feet at the start to roughly 7,000 feet at Spooner Summit near the halfway point, then descends to near lake level around 6,300 feet at the finish - the first half is uphill, the second half is downhill. It is the Friday marathon of the three-day Lake Tahoe Marathon weekend (the "Tahoe Trifecta"), with aid stations roughly every four miles.
