Leadville Trail Marathon
Race Day Weather
Cool start, warming up significantly
Runners will face temperatures starting at 43°F and rising to 68°F, necessitating a conservative approach early on. Winds will be mostly crosswind, transitioning to a tailwind around mile 6 and again at mile 20, providing some relief on key descents. With low humidity at 32%, hydration needs may be less frequent, but attention should be paid to pacing during the challenging climbs and descents, especially between miles 11 and 20.
