Race Info
The Maui Marathon is a marathon in Kaanapali, Maui, Hawaii. Established in 1971, it is one of the oldest annual marathon races in the United States and the longest recurring running event in the state. It ranks as the second most prestigious marathon in Hawaii, behind only the Honolulu Marathon. The race moved from a fall date to April starting in 2022. The full marathon course is a USATF-certified Boston Marathon qualifying course, run as an out-and-back along Kaanapali Parkway with a turnaround near Papalaua Wayside State Park.
