Race Info
The Maui Oceanfront Marathon is a point-to-point road race that starts at the Shops at Wailea on Maui's south shore and finishes at Launiupoko Beach Park, south of Lahaina. The course runs south to a turnaround at the Fairmont Kai Lana, then north through Kihei and onto Highway 30 along Maalaea Bay, with the last two miles on the closed highway. It is a Boston Marathon qualifier and the RRCA Hawaii State Marathon Championship. The race is held on a Sunday in mid-January, with a half marathon, 6-miler and 5K finishing at the same beach park.
