The Red Island State Marathon takes place at Warwick City Park in Warwick, Rhode Island, on a peninsula surrounded by Narragansett Bay. Runners complete multiple laps of a 2.7-mile loop plus a short out-and-back segment, with the full marathon covering nine laps and the half marathon four.
