The Staunton Rocks! Marathon & Half Marathon offers runners a challenging and scenic experience through Colorado's Staunton State Park. The course features 90% singletrack trails with gradual climbs and descents, technical features, and panoramic views of the Front Range Mountains. Participants may encounter local wildlife such as marmots, raptors, elk, mule deer, black bears, and mountain lions. The event is capped at 150 participants for each distance, with generous time allowances of 10 hours for the marathon and 9 hours for the half marathon. The race is organized by trail runners for trail runners, aiming to provide a top-notch trail racing experience on a challenging, scenic, and impeccably marked course.
