The Disney Princess Half Marathon is the headline race of Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida, held each February. The 13.1-mile course starts near Epcot before dawn, runs up World Drive to the Magic Kingdom, passes under the train station and up Main Street, U.S.A. through Cinderella Castle and Fantasyland, then returns through Epcot's World Showcase to the finish. About 20,000 runners take part each year, and roughly nine in ten are women, making it one of the largest women's running events in the country. Finishers must hold a 16-minute-per-mile pace, with the clock starting once the last corral crosses the start line.
