Guayaquil Marathon
Race Day Weather
Warm start, chance of rain, high humidity
A warm 72°F start means heat management is critical — consider dialing back your goal pace by 10-20 sec/mi. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. There's a chance of rain, so have a backup gear plan ready. High humidity (85%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

The 42.195-kilometer course starts and finishes outside the Palacio Municipal at the corner of República de Guayaquil and Pichincha streets, near the Malecón 2000 waterfront. A 12K, a 21K half marathon and a 5K run alongside it, all starting at 4:00 AM.
