Runners will face temperatures rising from 62°F to 84°F, with humidity at 42% and a dew point of 46°F. Winds will be from the S with max speeds of 7 mph and gusts up to 26 mph. It is advisable for runners to pace conservatively in the early miles to manage heat as the race progresses.
A true Canyon Marathon with 25 miles of the race in Payson Canyon. You will experience a few hills during the first half of the course. However, the last 16 miles are completely down hill.
