The Oktoberfest Runs at Stony Creek take place inside Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township, Michigan, with 30K, half marathon, 10K and 5K options starting and finishing at Baypoint Beach. The course runs on paved multi-use paths that loop around Stony Creek Lake through forest and fall foliage. The race moved from a November date to early October to serve as a tune-up before fall marathons. 2026 marks the event's 12th year. Source
