Race Info
The Aguascalientes Marathon is an annual race held each October in Aguascalientes, Mexico, with marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances starting together at 7:00 AM. The course is a loop that starts and finishes on Avenida Manuel Gómez Morín in the Barrio de la Estación, in front of the Antiguo Taller de Locomotoras, a former railway workshop now part of the Tres Centurias cultural complex. It grew out of informal community runs organized by local runner José Luis Trujillo before its first official marathon edition in 2012, and it has run every year since, including through the COVID-19 pandemic. The race weekend also includes a Saturday kids' fun run at the same start/finish point.
