Race Info
The Málaga Marathon starts and finishes on Paseo del Parque in front of the University of Málaga's Rectorate building, tracing a loop along the city's waterfront and coastal neighborhoods. It is a World Athletics Label Road Race and a Boston Marathon qualifier. The 2025 edition set course records of 2:06:07 for men (Mande Bushendich) and 2:24:43 for women (Misgane Alemayehu Wolteji). A half marathon runs concurrently over the same start line, finishing separately on Avenida Cánovas del Castillo.
