Rennes Marathon
Race Day Weather
Comfortable temps, warming through the race
Mild 50°F temps at gun time mean comfortable early miles without overheating risk. Temperatures rising to 63°F through the course will gradually increase perceived effort in the second half. Light winds shouldn't be a major factor for pacing. High humidity (82%) will make it harder to cool down through sweat — increase fluid intake accordingly.

Race Info
The Rennes Marathon is a 42.195-kilometer race through downtown Rennes in Brittany, France, starting at Mail François Mitterrand and finishing at Esplanade Charles de Gaulle. The two-loop, mostly flat course passes the Vilaine riverbanks, the Parliament of Brittany and Rennes City Hall, and carries FFA gold label certification. Race weekend also includes a Saturday-night 10K and a women's 5K, with a marathon finisher cutoff of 5 hours 30 minutes. First run in 2011, the race funds tree planting based on the distance each participant covers.
